What You Need to Know About the Bedbugs
Bedbugs are the most dreaded pest that can invade your home, they are vicious, and they can cause so much discomfort. They are common pests that can affect your home and people do not know much about them. There are ways that you can know if your home has bedbugs and the ways in which you can take care of the invasion.
Bedbugs are small bugs, and they are oval in shape and brown in color. The bedbugs can easily get into your home through the cracks or very tiny openings because of their flat nature, and they also can hide anywhere in your home. Like with majority of other bugs they reproduce by laying eggs. They are capable of laying hundreds of eggs in a lifetime. This enable the bed bug population to grow tremendously and very fast.
The bed bug will shed their skin before they mature and this happens at least five times. Before the bedbugs sheds off its shell they have to eat first and when they are enlarged their skin will come off. Sometimes you can get the skin that the bedbugs have shed off on your beddings and this is how you know that they have infested your home.
The bedbugs will normally make their homes on the bed cracks, couches and this gives them the advantage to suck your blood and especially when its dark. They can stay on a human skin feeding for some minutes. As they continue feeding they will become larger and engorged with blood. After the bedbugs bite you they leave your skin with a very irritating itch and when you notice this you have to cross check to confirm if your home is under invasion. The bedbugs do not cause any diseases, but the main problem is that these bugs spread very fast and also how to get rid of them, they are nasty, irritating and the idea of having small creatures crawling and sucking your blood while you are sleeping is stressful.
Your home not being clean might not necessarily be the reason why your home can be under bedbug invasion.
They can get stuck on your clothes , bought furniture or luggage if you are in contact with a couch that has bedbugs, and they can also crawl into your home. They will spread from one room to the next and also to the neighboring properties by simply crawling.
After realizing that you have unusual bites on your skin, confirm with other members of your house so that you can establish if the bites are from bedbugs.
