A couch is a section of furniture that can seat three or more people, with or without armrests, which are partly or completely furnished, and are at times tailored with springs and hand made cushions.
Though a couch is used principally for seating, it can also be used for sleeping. In households, couches are customarily located in the family room, living room, or the lounge. In some cases couches are found in non-residential locations such as hotels, in the lobbies of commercial offices, waiting rooms, and bars. Moreover, a chaise lounge is a lifted sofa that looks like a chair that is long enough to support the legs. Adventurously, chaise lounge have been associated with psychoanalysis and countless psychoanalysts keep on using the chaises lounge s in their offices for use in psychotherapy. In current French the phrase chaise lounge can be used to refer to any long reclining chair such as a deckchair.
